Description
PLEASE NOTE: There is a small chip on mouth rim of one of the smaller vases. Also some slight small fade spots due to age (see photos)
Made in Schlaggenwald Bohemia (Austria) by Sommer & Matschak who were known for their fine and highly decorated works. These beautiful vases are unique and rare antique pieces of bohemian porcelain and highly collectable for collectors. Hand painted classic design with yellow and pink flowers, green background and intricately detailed gold handles and gold mouth rim. Made in early 1900’s, presumed circa 1904-1905.
Larger vase measures 8 inches tall and 4 inches wide and has the Sommer & Matschak mark at base. The other 2 smaller vases of the same size, each measure 6 inches tall and 3 ¼ inches wide and are unmarked at base. To the best of our knowledge the 2 unmarked smaller pieces are also created by Sommer & Matschak as all 3 vases were sourced and purchased as a set.
